About Me
My role as a translator is to transfer your message from English into fluent Italian, so that you can communicate more effectively with your audience and achieve your communication and business goals. I do this by using my interpreting, research and writing skills and the knowledge of both the English and the Italian languages and culture.
I am a native Italian speaker and a qualified Translator and Interpreter. I’ve been working with foreign languages for the last 27 years in different industries and in 3 different countries. Thanks to the many years spent in the UK I am fully bilingual and bicultural.
I studied interpreting and translation at the School of Interpreters and Translators where I specialised in simultaneous and consecutive interpreting.
Before setting up as an independent translator, I have spent several years working internationally for large multinational companies, resorts and boutique hotels.
I have also attended courses that led to professional certifications in sectors I was interested in.
Thanks to this varied background I have developed many transferrable skills that I can now use in the translation industry.
I am now based in Italy and work as an independent translator full time.
